Original question quoted below... Many thanks to: Noordin Ahmad who reported his experience of passing through DXF and then shape or E00, with sure loss of topology. Laurent Dormal who pointed to German ESRI site where l found info about ArcSICAD which, as pointed from Volker Rautenberg and Sebastian Hofer (GISCON), with SICAD reader are products made by GISCON (ESRI-DE Partner); ArcSICAD is a 2 ways translator, and SICAD reader just one way. Till Adams (from CON TERRA) tells about their "SICAD reader" with the same name of GISCON one (don't know if it's the same...) Ruth Bowers suggests to apply to SAFE to have someway the writing SICAD functionality added in their FME; I had red in a FME PDF that FME only reads SICAD, but a recent check in the SAFE site revealed the two way translation for the Prof. version using a TYDAC plugin. Here follow prices (a bit expensive IMHO): ArcSICAD from GISCON: 9.000 DM SICAD reader from CON TERRA 2.000 DM FME Prof. suite + Tydac plugin 1750 + 3437 US$ Cheers, Alberto Antinori > I'm looking for any solution in translating SICAD (SQD) > formats in and from ESRI formats. I'm only aware of FME > wich only reads SQDs. Any help greatly appreciated... ___________________________________________ Alberto Antinori - Geologist & GeoInformation Analyst Sistemi Territoriali S.r.l. ------- GIS & DSS Lungarno Mediceo, 16 - 56127 PISA - I T A L Y Tel.: +39-050-541740 Fax: +39-050-577537 e-mail: a.antinori@sister.it www.sister.it ___________________________________________
